Driving directions:

From the NYS Thruway of the east on 5s: Follow 5s into the village limits. Continue to the first traffic light at the marked corners of Hancock Street and Main Street. Turn left and then right onto Canal Street. Proceed four blocks and turn into the parking lot of the Fort Plain Village Hall and Fire Department. The Police Department is located on the side of the building.

From the west on 5s: After entering the village limits near the Fort Plain Museum, continue east approximately one half mile. Turn left into the parking lot of the Fort Plain Village Hall and Fire Department. The Police Department is located on the side of the building.

From the north off of State Highway 5: Turn onto State Highway 80 (southbound) in Nellistion. Cross over the Mohawk River Bridge and under the New York State Thruway. After crossing the intersection of River Street and Willet Street, proceed to the “T” intersection of River Street and Canal Street. Turn right and proceed three blocks. Turn into the parking lot of the Fort Plain Village Hall and Fire Department. The Police Department is located on the side of the building.
